The Depression was a long darastic time period where everyone was depressed. Banks all across the United States and world were going bankrupt from lending too much money out to people. People all over the world were constantly going into debt and losting their homes and farms. African-Americans had it worse than all people. They were physically and mentally mistreated and abused by white people. For entertainment, people went to movies, listened to radio shows, and read comic books for a low price. People did this type of entertainment to get away from being depressed and get their mind of certain things. All together the depression was a hard time period for all people, and ended up being a time period that made history.
